You probably don't want to hear this but pads really don't care what kind of rotor they go with, and rotor features rarely have a significant affect on brake fade.

Kalim though... Not sure what happened to him. I don't think any era ever wore fleece vests like him. Actually, the tucked in plaid shirt with blue jeans is pretty 80's/90's nerd attire.
