I haven't looked into it, but there's a good chance it won't be prohibitively difficult. The interface between DME and trans computer, be it auto, SMG, or SSG, should be pretty similar. DME would probably need an SSG flash and the SMG computer would have to be flashed to shift at non-M rev limit and release at non-M idle.
