Not really. I did both struts in a little over 3 and a half hours...which is fast for me. I got a half hour or so worth of help from Drewski but then like the Brit he is, he bailed
The strut mounts make it really simple. They're keyed so that the strut holds itself from turning as you do up the top nut. |

Ehh, I dunno. E46 fronts take about 45 minutes a side. I've done Jimmy's front struts so often due to bad parts that it's second nature, lol. Also, the top nut isn't even an issue.

well considering the only other suspension I've fiddled with is on my car and with Drew doing most of the work, I'm calling it a win. You have the special tool though right? This just needed a 19mm socket. I think next I might tackle the accessory belt on it. It doesn't have tensioners though. It's too old school. |
