Apparently the pressure bleed off is also normal. He said there's a purge valve in the pump. He said on rare occasions the valve can go bad but starts will take on the order of 5+ seconds.

The fuel tank filling issue is an issue they're gonna look into though.
Here's a hint (not much)

Not a whole lot. BMW takes the same approach as Honda when it comes to their engines (at least the NA ones)-they're about as tuned as you'll get from the factory.

Except honda can get as much power as my engine in a 2L 4pot while the jews in Bavaria intentionally make boat anchors so the m3 can look good and elitists on e46f can turn up their noses at us.

I think he meant the non-return valve in the pump.
The system should bleed off pressure slowly. It should fall 0.5 bar or less within 20-30 minutes of the pump being switched off.
Thanks!

Ya it was some sort of valve. Not 100% sure what he called it.

LOL, I remember there was a manufacturer who made a CAI for the F22 (S2K engine) and the car actually lost 2 HP.

Then why the larger intake and injectors? From what I've read, the intent was to compensate for the more restrictive exhaust.

Maybe they hired an engineer without an engineering degree.

Well, 325 owners like to compensate, so...

But seriously, BMW put the larger intake and injectors, so my statement stands; you won't be able to do much with the engine after the factory's had their way with it.
