The good thing was that they take out a ton of drive train slack. You hear the diff just enough to know what's going on with torque transfer. I liked it.

Do you have to drop the subframe to swap those bushings? The SA claimed that they didn't but aren't the bushings in the subframe?

Of course. You trade wear in one area for wear in another, but subframe bushings generally last a long time.

Correct, you don't have to drop it. They can be pressed in place. It's a heck of a lot easier with the subframe out if you're doing aluminum ones, but stock ones don't matter.
