How likely is it for unevenly torqued wheel bolts to warp a rotor?

Thursday I noticed a little vibration that worsened on Friday. I checked the wheel bolts first: 2 were finger tight on the driver front, 1 was finger tight on the pass front (not even an exaggerating). All others including all 10 at the rear needed the breaker plus the jack handle to break loose :/ It's as if they blasted them on and never bothered to check them.

Oh and I found out they ruined the gasket on the week old air filter

trust me, if it was like that when they opened the air box they would've quoted me for a new one.

Stevens Creek BMW. I've had problems with the car ever since I got it back. They didn't tighten my ET cap so it was spewing coolant, they didn't secure my under tray (3 of 10 screws were screwed in, 4 are missing), and now all this.

They are BY FAR the worst dealership in the area. I drive the extra distance to go to Mt. View or Fremont.

That sucks to hear.

I wish Peter Pan BMW wasn't so far. They're heads above the others.

I know I figured it was just warranty work, so it wouldn't be a big deal :/

I've photographed everything so far (except the wheel bolts, not really anyway to show that) and filed a complaint with BMWNA on Friday. I'll probably call them today to amend it based upon what I found yesterday.

^^ part of the problem right there. "Ug, a warranty job. Just finish this up quickly so you can get working on a customer that we can gouge for other services.

especially since a 2 day job turned into an 8 day job. The thing is all the issues so far (I haven't put gas in it yet) have been caused by their "complimentary inspection."

And for the record I see no evidence of a leaking fan clutch or a leaking tstat which they wanted some ridiculous amount to replace.

edit: actually, if you need a fan clutch, I have one at home. slightly used, maybe like 300 miles or less.... I'll have to dig around to find it.

Thanks! I don't see any leaks on mine and it spins smoothly so idk. I know the last time we had it out it had something on it but it was unclear if that was coolant because of the ET or if it was actually leaking.

Dude this is ridiculous. I would either be calling them of BMWNA about this and how you should be getting a lot more free service
