Yeah, but that's happened to me before. After 3 minutes of trying to pump and doing a lot of b/c it kept stopping, I switched pumps and it worked fine.

Ya I will. I've got plenty if time. The soonest they could get me in (with a loaner) is the 25th

No but I went there to talk to them in person. This service advisor has only answered once out of the probably 30 times I've called. The last time I left a message he never bothered to call me back and I was going to Santana Row anyway. So I figured I'd drop by for old time's sake

Your car has been to the dealership more than both of mine combined.

Ya I was at the pump about 5 minutes and only managed to pump a half tank before giving up. I'm pretty sure that's the same pump I used last week and it filled fine If it does turn out to be the pump I'll call and cancel my appointment. It's not as if the service advisor wants to see me anyway Although he will conveniently be on vacation on the 25th.

Right on. A pump at costco wouldn't go past 3/4 tank once, not sure why.

Not really. Since I've had it, it went to the Lexus dealership (where we bought it) twice - windshield leak, then mystery noise that turned out to be the pulley bearings. And BMW 3 times - tail light recall, gas tank, and dealer shenanigans. This'll be the 4th.

Lol that's my experience every time I go. My girlfriend was wondering what on earth I was doing as she hears the pump shut off 15 times

No, really. I've never taken the touring to the dealership, and the only time the vert saw a dealership was for the overboosted steering retrofit.

Nice. I've never once paid for work at the dealership aside from my wheels but that's a sub'd out job.
