Meh on food, air is no (filled with hippy smell), worse drivers (The few times I've been in Berkeley I've had more near accidents, near misses, or dealt with terrible directions) and again the homes are either by the college or are not in the city.

San Jose is way nicer, a lot less hippies, easier freeway access, did I mention less hippies?
