Speaking of those tabs, I was thinking it might be fun to measure those, possibly redesign them, and make them for less than what people charge for them.

Know any good sources for tubing? I'm going to try and get some measurements.

In the past I've just ordered stuff off summit racing. Cheaper might be able to be had locally from a metal supply place. Make sure you get 304L stainless. 316 and 321 are fancier and more expensive but not really needed, and 400 series isn't quite as nice, but it works.
