It's not hard adjusting them, but I'd be hesitant to follow drew's advice as this sounds like an all around crazy complaint and solution, lol.
They creak when they dry out. IIRC, my rear passenger seal did that when I first bought the car. The dealer lubed it up for me.

In any case, you would adjust it via the latching mechanism in the door. It moves a small amount.

The latch in the door has no range of movement. You adjust the latch hoop on the door frame, and it has extra wide slots and captive washers for doing so.

Also, I need to start picking out people I wouldn't mind going on a trip with. After this...calamity, I need to choose more carefully.

It's a good learning experience.

From my eurotrip experience: really trustworthy, has manners, self sufficient. Everything goes soooo smoothly if those three simple things are there.

They're incredibly noisy on rutted roads or going up driveways when the chassis flexes. Loud enough that my dad has even complained about it when riding shotgun.

It was just an idea given that they went noisy after a week.

I just need someone who is a team player and is not a public relations nightmare. You know, someone who will try and communicate in the local language, will bother to read the city/subway map every now and then, and will not walk ahead the rest of the group even though they don't know where they're going.

Also, someone who doesn't have foot problems and is patient.

I won't go with people who grew up being the only child anymore. This sucks.

All 4 of mine did it prior to using the gummi pflege. My rears are fine now. Driving down The Alameda it's unbearable
