Yes, the brackets and shock absorbers are the same, but those are mounting pieces that mount to the frame, which are the same between coupes and sedans.

When you say he keeps changing his mind, do you mean it's whether or not he'll lend the team the batteries, or what type of batteries he'll lend?
If it's the latter, I can see that that will be a problem. If it's the former, then buy some batteries.
