Can that actually happen? We had a Nissan Quest at one point that'd blow the airbag fuse and cause airbag errors whenever you used it to jump another car.

The charging system can see some pretty strong transients while jump starting. I think I've seen an owner's manual or two that recommends turning on the rear defroster to suppress them a little.

Not surprised that a sensitive component like that airbag module fritzed out, lol. The internal fuse in the E30 ABS relay is known to blow, too.
