In any case, it's the Speedmaster Professional 3573.50.00, aka "sapphire sandwich"...which btw makes no sense, since it's the two outer parts made of sapphire crystal. That's like calling it a bread sandwich...
I call it a bread sandwich

Why does Amazon keep listing these as unavailable? The second one I posted is still in Omega's current catalogue.

Or is it that thing where Omega can't let online vendors sell their product? I don't know?

Either of those two would would work. As long as it is a Speedmaster Pro. I don't want the automatic...yet. If I can't find a Pro at a good price, I will happily settle for an automatic. But it's not like I'm in a hurry, anyway. So I will keep looking.

Edit that. Just the two I posted. They have a Speedy Co-Axial which is too rich for my blood and a one with a brown dial. Brrrrr....

Mechanical/manual winding. That is the classic Speedy. The automatic one is also called "reduced" sometimes.

So you have been seeing these used for about $1000?

That's a steep drop
Looks like that 2nd model retails for $4500 and is sold for $3500 online

Nope. Not even the automatic sells for that, unless it doesn't come with a bracelet and is totally beat up.

Okay
I thought I saw you mention something about $1000 earlier
(Actually I think I got confused by a post in the watch thread... someone said get a used omega for $1000)

So the automatic is cheaper?

Yes, auto is cheaper. I wish they went for that price. Then I can get an immaculate/special edition for my budget, lol.

That can't be the Pro. And that can't be nice. Unless I'm looking in the wrong places. I've scoured so many forums, even ones in Europe.

Oh, Seamaster. There is a difference. They are worth less. And not that pretty. Speedmaster has a nicer bezel.
