Mossberg 500's are solid shotguns.

Do you have the 5+1?

Yessir! Got it from a friend of mine. Just got a nice vented/ribbed 28" barrel for it that has an accu-choke system in it. Haven't had a chance to take it out yet. I want to do one of the skeet clinics they do on calguns a lot.

nice. Guns are just a hobby for me, not intended to be used for home defense, or any kind of defense. Just go out to the desert, ring some gongs and punch holes in paper

No amount of muscles will help when you're cornered by a cracked out "melanin enriched" gentleman with a gat.

Or if your house is broken in by a pair of hoodrats

Does yours have wood furniture? wood furniture

I've got about 1950 into her. I searched pretty hard to find the best deals on everything. I think if I would have paid average street pricing it would have been around 2500. The only things left I need to get are sling attachment points and a sling. Going to go with a single point, but would like provisions for a two point

No, I'm not a fudd and plastic is more durable and lightweight

Besides, if I get a shotgun with wood furniture it's going to be a beretta O/U or something classy

if it wasn't for the ar thing I'd have a nice o/u right now. One of my friends convinced me to get my lowers before the election. Glad he did though. Clays is where I have the most fun though.

Thanks!

all PDC systems have sensors that flake out. Even the OEM. At least they're fairly cheap. I found out tonight that dense fog can fool it lol.

Would've been impossible otherwise. There's no access with the bumper on.

Someone had removed my bumper before though - the bolts were reasonably tight (not nightmarishly like I've heard of) and someone replaced the stupid push rivets with screws, so it was really easy to remove and replace. I didn't even break any clips

Parking sensors actually haha. I wish I had a V1. I do have a hardwired Cobra radar detector though. It does the job just fine. All of the locals and CHP use Ka and the occasional POP.

It was cool, I popped out the rivets holding the trunk lid liner to find what color wire went to the reverse light (blue with a green/yellow tracer for anyone interested) and the wire was right with the bundle in the right side of the trunk so I tapped it there and grounded the negative. I was happy I didn't have to run wires into the trunk lid. All in all, took between 3 and 4 hours. Not bad and worth it in my opinion. Parts and the kit cost less than $60.
