For a conventional 5 leg glass filled nylon base, with swivel wheels, swivel top, gas up and down, and my work to get an E46 seat to fit, probably like $250; for a nice polished metal base, like $350. For another $50 I'd include a battery, battery charger, and electrical installation to keep the seat powered.

If you just want a set height, price goes down quite a bit without the need for a gas cylinder, and design can be much more creative.

i was thinking <100 range. I was thinking of stealing the parts off old chairs. any way to make the seat hight manually adjustable?

New Years day drive/shop tour tue morning/afternoon. tomorrow supposed to be at my friends by eight. leave early, cum play tomorrow afternoon + sunday morning.
