Exactly. The wheel bore is usually chamfered where it meets the lip, so you can use that area on the spacer to build a lip, but it doesn't work well with all wheels.

It's also used for SMG, which is maybe why they list it.
I wouldn't trust a generic fitment guide in the first place, though.
