Random Miles thoughts; guesses as to what ring gear teeth to pinion gear teeth BMW used in their differentials. Interesting how they mixed in 13 and 14 tooth pinion gears.

The Bell Arrow only has DOT approval. Bell makes DOT and M2010 approved helmets, but they are all more expensive. Bell is one of those companies that doesn't take any shortcuts in terms of safety, which is why I don't worry much about their certifications so long as I'm using the helmet for its designed intent. I've been happy with them for cycling helmets as well as my motorsports helmet.

Yup. Used to be much better, but as the school has become more competitive to get into, the hotness factor has been going down.
