yea, best way to work on these is while they're up on a lift which isn't that big of an issue for me. I've got enough friends/contacts in the porsche world that it shouldn't be horriable for me. My dad's been trying to push me towards a Cayman, just more funds then I care to tie up right now. Need to start saving for bigger things... like a place to put it

Yeah, I thought about that when doing the S54 swap and manual conversion on the sedan. Would suck to break a foot or leg.

That's unfortunate. The right pedals would fix that, though. As is, E46 pedals suck for heel-toe.

Faster for most people, yeah. If you rely heavily on clutch control, it may slow you down.
