I don't know how Nick managed it, either getting that thread locked, or setting himself up so perfectly to look like he got it locked.

Kalim, Miles, Kyle,

Thoughts on the rear end:

Currently my 330i brakes/trailing arms are all okay. Should I swap to all m3 rear end stuff (trailingarms/brakes) ? or should I try and keep my 330i stuff to minimize extra spending?

I'd actually want to do everything M3, just because I feel that would be open more options for aftermarket performance parts as well as it reduced the amount of frankenstein mix-and-mathching that's going on, which could be annoying when you need to replace something.

I say do it all, front and rear. Then finish up with the motor and trans later.

So you're saying Miles' thread was like a teenage pregnancy, full of drama and tension whereas Frank's thread is like your run of the mil adult pregancy, expected with no drama yet still the same disasterous results.

I already have a major frankenstien front...

Fair input though Hopefully the condition of the M3 brakes is okay (i know pads and rotor are minimum to replace.)
