I haven't written it off. Just isn't super appealing to me at the moment.

If someone said here, try this, I'd be all "**** yeah" and ****. But I'm not ordering it for myself.

Well, you ate at the place that we went to last night.

Would you not agree it's cheap and good? (Not saying it's really good or anything better, just good)

I want to do this. And just be a big loud annoying white guy until I sit down at which point I turn 100% japanese

I mean literally turn japanese, mannerism wise. Not "turn japanese."

Okay both would also be funny.

i don't know which is which but i've been to two sushi places with kalim
once was before the tanforan meet with you, nate, and kalim (i'll call that sushi1)
and once was with just kalim (sushi2)

i think the only redeeming factor for sushi1 was that it was cheap for good portion of food
i forget what i ordered there but i'm almost sure that i did not order SUSHI sushi
(i might have ordered udon or some other dish? can't remember)
reason being that i've had a lot of cheap sushi in various places ... and have gotten sick many times from not-so-fresh sushi
one of the worst being in NYC at a place that had dollar tuna nights every tuesday or something

Turning Japanese in public is something Miles would do.

I think you had the same sukiyaki dish as me at sushi place 1, before the tanforan meet.

I wonder which sushi place kalim brought you to.

Well, it certainly couldn't have been Cherry Sushi or Sushi O Sushi, because those places cost a fortune and are incredibly crappy food. Kalim rarely drives to Komatsu anymore because no jailbait korean waitress and no Toby. Most likely being Yuki Sushi, which has better service than Sushi House, is more expensive, is similarly not run by japanese people, and serves similar quality food.

Was it Yuki sushi (in the corner of that little parking lot) or Sushi O Sushi, in that Korean plaza next to Honeyberry?

Yuki Sushi has consistently good salmon and salmon skin, which are two of my favorite things. Salmon skin especially is the best I've had.
Komatsu has better salmon, but the rice isn't as good as Yuki. Also, pretty sure that family is at least half Viet over there.
