No, BMW's V12s just suck for performance. They are really smooth and have lots of low RPM torque, and also are notoriously expensive and unreliable.

Go to the italians or an older F1 team if you want a V12 that has performance, or go to Mercedes-Benz's V12s if you want a performance V12 that won't leave you stranded on the side of the road.

The only exception being the V12 that BMW made for the McLaren F1, which was like two Euro S50s put together.
