I've been there a few times. They didn't mind us carrying my buddy's shotgun directly from his trunk. Are you familiar with gun safety? Basically, finger off trigger at all times and always point the muzzle in a safe place (muzzle up, muzzle down or downrange when there is no cease fire) whenever handling it. They will be happier if they see you pointing the muzzle downwards as you remove/place the gun in your trunk.

Also, do not transport (or touch) weapons during a cease-fire. That means if there is no gunfire in the range you wish to shoot at, wait until the cease fire stops to grab your gun and set up at your shooting station. I think cease-fires are at every 15 minutes or so.

Nice. Shoot from the hip and never hit your target. Then you get A+ for (movie)accuracy.

I used to have a teacher that started the semester with:

"Congratulations. As of right now you all have an A+. Unfortunately, I will give you many chances this quarter to bring that down to a C or worse but it's entirely up to you."

That's always harder to take cause it sucks way more to lose something than to never have it. Just ask Plums about love #goingtodiealone
