I didn't say it needs it now, but it will need one sooner rather than later.

And at being a year and a half old, I just hit 32,000 miles. So that's a lot.

Back from bar hopping in Campbell. I have to say overall, the women prospect was a 4/10...but we made up for this horrible number with lot's of lulz and laughing at the ugly people

I would buy a window 7 upgrade before I spent money on a 12 year old operating system. See if someone has a copy you can have.

There's also the free OS's. Ubuntu is free. Depending on what you use the computer for, that may be more than enough for you.

I'm not sure if it can handle 7 or else I would definitely install 7. I put Ubuntu on an old notebook and while it's really neat, I don't know if I can use it exclusively on my desktop (unless I partition the HDD, which I don't really want to do).

Understood.

If you do decide to go Ubuntu route, go with Xubuntu. Even Ubuntu is a bit heavier than XP. Xubuntu is super light and fast. Faster than XP and will run well on older computers.

Otherwise, this guy looks legit.
