No.

Any older mercedes-benz, going to have very long soft linear rate springs. Just like my 190E. Tons of body roll, though soft ride and lots of droop travel.

If you make the springs stiff enough that you don't have body roll, the ride is not a little, but MUCH stiffer over small bumps. You will literally feel crosswalk paint.

I think PASM just sounds like a bad idea if you want to lower. I don't think there has ever been an OE self-adjusting damper in history that was receptive to lowering springs. My 190E with its self-leveling rear dampers comes to mind.

H&R makes the same linear springs that eibach, swift, and others make in the standard 60mm, 2.25", and 2.50" sizes. Street car springs usually just aren't linear because of how bad of a ride they give unless they are really soft, ie. mercedes stock springs.
OE springs are linear

Frank said that he was looking into some springs for the Porsche and saw that H&R made some that worked with PASM. Looking online, people have not confirmed that the specific H&R springs for the Cayman are linear. They are most likely progressive. I'm sure H&R makes linear springs, but I don't know if they are the right size that Frank needs.
though after some reading the ebach's and the H&R's are progressive

This place did my subframe bushing and welded in the subframe reinforcement while they were in there. They do a lot of custom domestic work but they are familiar with BMWs (at least mine and Kalim's)
