So this last Robogames 2013 event was the last combat robot event. It has been unofficially announced by the event organizer. The arena has reportedly been sold to someone from Florida. As of today, there is really no more arena nor event to fight 220 pound combat robots, and only one yearly event for the 60 and 120 pound robots in Brazil.

So sad, especially when we finally get a decent robot design.

Can't link it since I'm on my phone.

If you can do a search in the classifieds, just search with "clutch" as a keyword and me as a user.

So, anyone know any entrepreneurial types that might want to put on the world largest and only international combat robot event? Sooner would probably be better than later, before all the current robots and builders disappear in the next few months/year. All the information about about what works and what doesn't for the arena, safety, and organization is can be provided free of charge. Labor and equipment to construct the arena can also be provided.
