I drove around stoned for years and years with little incident but I don't like it anymore, either I'm getting old or having kids changed my mindset in terms of permissible risk. Again, not to say I wouldnt do it ever or that I care if anyone else does as I've never (knock on wood) really known anyone who had an accident from it, in fact most people are more cautious..but even with meets I guess I feel like it's a bad impression to make and people will not want to drive/wrench/track day if you come off as an unfocused spaceshot, I do enough already...

So come here just long enough BEFORE the meet on Friday and we won't tell anyone, lol. Or after, but I WILL pig out on snacks.

And yes Daniel, you can be quite glad you're not Kyre....

I need to fix one of you guys up with my cute niece who works for the Pats...

She's like 22? 23? Good kid, always happy, no drama.

Damn I'm old..
So far

And thanks to my work schedule I would have to go straight to the Friday meets if I wanted to go, no time beforehand

I think anyone who knows your value set and does it close enough for you to notice is downright obnoxious and I would NEVER want to be that guy. Public consumption is unnecessary and regretful. At certain concerts etc, well, comes with the turf, but I get pissed when I'm someplace with my kids or my mom etc and someone is lighting up... it's just not necessary. Discretion is always an option.

This was once the case, pre 90s, but no longer, at least not NE and NY, and I'd say likely not among anyone who is a semi regular smoker -- the good stuff is everywhere and has been for a long time, though west of the Rockies is a different, more powerful order of quality.

Things changed dramatically around 1992-94 (enter Snoop Dog, "Friday" movies, Cypress Hill weed worship years, etc.) and the weed we smoked when I was in Boston summers in college (dark green, oily, seed-bearing outdoor Mexican import) simply disappeared around mid-late 90s, don't think you can even find it anymore... It was just commercial shite compared to kind buds, wholesale different than what we EVER had up in Vermont (primarily Eastern Canada purple sativa, mostly indoor via across the border reservation grows and barn grows in the northern states [NY, VT, ME]).

I'm sure there are places where it still exists but you'd never see it now anyplace relatively urban... along with being the no.1 us cash crop (certified) we're flooded with high quality stuff from Canada and Mexico...
