Yet another one of my dad's patients lost their insurance plan thanks to Obamacare. They signed up to Covered California (CA's version of Obamacare) thinking that because it says PPO, they can see any doctor they want. Noooooope.

I'm hopefully getting my car back tomorrow And by that, I mean my mom is picking it up while I drive the Sequoia

Hopefully they'll bother to tighten the ET cap and secure the under tray with more than 2 screws this time

Undoubtedly. Ask someone who didn't have insurance previously and I'm sure they love it. Ask someone from the middle-class and they could be getting their policies cancelled and their options are signing up for worse policies or paying roughly double in premiums to maintain a similar policy.

The people that likely benefit more than the previously uninsured are those under Medicare (which is long overdue for reform) as well as people with pre-existing conditions.

Nope. The Rate Review process provides for an independent committee to review any increases of more than 10%. If someone is paying double what they were previously paying, they're doing it wrong.

The insurance companies are getting around that by canceling the existing policies and offering similar policies with much higher premiums. The funding for all the subsidized policies has to come from somewhere...

In the average state, Obamacare will increase underlying premiums by 41 percent. As we have long expected, the steepest hikes will be imposed on the healthy, the young, and the male.
