Someone cross-threaded the wheel studs on my car. Okay, I really didn't need that expense.

Well, I got the the results back from a friend, and it's imperial. 1/2"-20. And no one has it. Which means it's a dealer part. Which means a)it's overpriced because I can only go through Jaguar and b) it still has the stupid jacket that deforms and becomes loose.

How about the mod bargains one? It comes with fogs too and brackets Its only $300 ( although theirs need to be modified to fit the face-lifted coupes, which is kind of backwards. )

it's all the same if you're going with aftermarket. i would go with where you can get it cheapest. they all come from the same mold.

the modification part is just a change of brackets. even OEM requires this. you need the prefacelift (white) brackets.

Okay cool. Thanks! I'm just not as familiar with this stuff anymore, been out of the loop for a while so it's good to hear from you guys first. I imagine I can get the pre-face brackets from tischer?

Yeah, frank, pretty much what Hieu said. I think the material they make the bumpers from is different. But i would imagine Mod bargains one is good to go, they have been in the game a while. You just need to get the prefacelift brackets (same with sedans and what I had to do).... they are pretty much plug and play.

on Modbargains page, their disclaimer is that it requires a lot of prep work and possible shaving/trimming to fit perfectly. Is this just something they have to say to cover themselves, and for the most part our cars it fits plug & play?

yep pretty much covering themselves.

you do need the brake ducts too (which costs a lot). but that's pretty much the bare minimum of what you would need.
