The second you said behr and radiator i knew problems would occur...Although the fact it was an automatic radiator isn't what i thought happened. I, and Ed, know first hand how poor the fitment is on behr radiators...I'll stick to OEM even if it costs 4 times the cost or upgrade to something better like mishimoto.

Are you talking about the ET bracket fitment at the bottom of the radiator?

It took me all of 2 minutes to solve that problem. I just grinded down a little bit of the plastic on the ET mounting plate and it fit like a glove, not a big deal really. No issues on the top or with the radiator sitting flush when mounted.

The problem is a OEM replacement part should not require shimming down anything. It should be a direct every time. Behr is an OEM supplier so I would expect them to hold higher standards for fitment than other aftermarket part suppliers.

that's why i also say that the OE replacement is really OEM rejects lol still better than aftermarket but not as great as OEM.

You mean OE > OEM

Original equipment
Original equipment manufacture

OE being genuine BMW
OEM being aftermarket made by the same people.

Either way the behr looked pretty good to me and an easy fix if needed to be modified. We only got screwed with the drain plug because of a misunderstanding.

I'm taking the m3 wheels off. Going to clean them up and put them up for sale soon.
