lol, I wouldn't take the perches out either. They kinda hold the spring in place and I don't think the sound of metal on metal is gonna be all that great anyway.

the spring pads will be harder. you are pretty much reinstalling your springs. you take them out, pull the pads, and put them back together.

frank rear pads are easy to take out. for the fronts just jack up the car and cut them out lol
