Well my cousin's own an aerospace warehouse in signal hill near by where DPE used to be. So they have all kinds of aluminum and sheet metal and all the polishers and other stuff for it. So I think I might be able to do it. All I am worried about is if I need to clear it or not.

Ok I just wasn't sure if you needed to clear it or not. Is it true if you don't the Aluminum oxidizes or something and turns whiter or something. I forget. The OEM trim didn't seem cleared so I wasn't sure.

There are two types "Aluminum trim/Matte Chrome" which is sliver painted with a matte clear coat.

And real Aluminum trim that is actually a sheet of aluminum folded over the trim pieces, like in the coupes. Jun Moon has the real Aluminum trim I checked out a piece last time I was at Hieu's it is real.

Yeah they are actually pretty big in the aerospace business. They just expanded too. They have contracts with Boeing and the government for planes so they make some insane pieces.

It is called PT Industries.

aluminum can't oxidize because it's a non-ferrous metal. at the most aluminum can do is corrode and that is due to a chemical reaction.
