Just now coming home from work, I was wondering what's wrong with my coordination as I was launching the car off the line like an ass through several traffic lights. Then I realized I accidentally left my phone on top of the "sport" button and had it on. What a ***** I was...

Raised it up about 3 threads after I put the motor in. Got an extra 100 lbs or so over the front axle, lol.

The S54 really weighs that much more? I didn't realize... I know the M54 has an aluminum block but... I didn't know it would be like 100lbs lighter.

478 vs. 375. That cast iron block is beefy.

Dayyyymmmm

Have you done any like "preventative" maintenance on it like in the vanos or changed anything out? That is the only issue I remember about that motor, that and like the SMG pump for the tranny. Did you get a 6-speed?
