You can do it 100% legally. Just do a complete swap with all emissions equipment, make sure you don't have an SES light, and pass inspection at the smog ref.

It doesn't change on registration. Still shows as 4DR. Even the M3 doesn't show specifically as an M3. It just says that it's a coupe.

Insurance is agreed value, which is the norm for highly modified cars.

Better to get it CARB'd, your insurance won't change because the chassis is still a 3XX yet in the event of an accident you can claim the swap and get $$$.

Agree'd all it needs a 6 speed and mtech kit, heated and cooled seats
