a friends dad bought a 2007 550i and the listing said cd changer, well no cd changer was ever in that car. so he priced it out but doesn't like the idea of paying for the programming.

That's what I figured. CD changer is probably the most common request, haha.

Well you can acquire the software by looking on bf.c or get it from someone else local, lol. The instructions and cable info are also on bf.c in their dedicated subforum. Takes a good bit of reading.
