Found out why my steering wheel was shaking.... Thought it was a combo of the cabs and alignment. Turns out America tire didn't balance my new rims when it put the tires on. Slowly started to wear uneven and shred my tires. My little shop balanced them right with new front tires and car drives straight and absolutely no wobble in the steering.

Yeah, my tire guy called my back to his balance machine and showed me how far off it was. He told me they only put weights on the outer portion of the rim but some weights were need on the inner portion too. He pretty much told me they were way the **** off and was surprised it didn't get worse quicker.

So he had me watch him as he balanced them properly and got the machine down to zero.

I used to be a fan of American tire, but I have really lost faith in them over the years.

My little tire guy hooks me up and takes care of me.... Even if I don't have a warrantied tire, his prices are so good it doesn't even matter.

Hell, last time I was there, he got me two 265/30/19 Achillies, brand new, mounted and balanced for $265 out the door.

He mounted and balanced my two front tires I got from Chad yesterday for $10.

Glad you got it fixed. That's why I don't go to those regular tire shops unless I know someone working there. That and they scratch rims up.
