And it worked, too. We had a special school assembly with a few famous jazz musicians thanks to some clever social engineering.

well, it wouldn't be that big of a deal if i lived in the area. But even from irvine, if I get off at 5pm, hang out.... then drive 20 miles west in the opposite direction of home, to show up at a meet at 9pm that everyone has bailed on....... then turn around around drive another 50 miles home, is not how i want to spend a free thursday night....
