Regarding why I was banned, if you want to read about what happened look here:
http://forum.e46fanatics.com/showthr...=917000&page=3

but I'm letting it got out of respect for a certain someone. <3 going to avoid the purse FI section in general.
ok
so until just a few days ago, i had no idea what "HPF" was
and i have no idea what kind of drama might have transpired relating to mfest (or maybe it's not about mfest at all)...
but...

what you said was really insensitive and a-holish
and at the very least "too soon"

ban was deserved for sure

all i saw was "karma is a *****"

which mod had sand in their vagina that day?

ok, i read on some more, there were a lot of sandy vaginas that day.

no one got hurt, all the people saying "they could have been hurt" well that is true of every second of every day.

sleep deprivation driving is worse than drinking and driving.

speaking of desktop...
anyone got any desktop parts just collecting dust?
i have an old desktop (won't turn on, probably bad power supply) with 2 harddrives that i should access and retrieve data from
a friend gave me an alienware desktop (case, power supply, mobo, chip, etc.) but missing the RAM
i'm not sure if i should just buy some ram or ... find another way to access the harddrives

DDR, DDR2, DDR3? what kind of ram you need?

or buy an external HDD case and you can just put them in there.

Just get a cheap USB adapter or enclosure for the hard drives.

Bad timing and bad delivery. Like I said on fb, just because it's technically "not wrong" doesn't mean it wasn't done in bad taste. Kinda hard to sympathize with Raf, even if you are familiar with HPF's history.

if you only need data on the hard drive, i would just use an adapter. i wouldn't even waste money on the ram lol you can go return the adapter when you're done too
