I don't usually talk about what I have publically... we will just leave it at that.. I went shooting with my buddies in Texas, ended up buying an AR off the guy.... but I couldn't bring it to Cali with me. , it is still there. I have posted these pics before..... before I bought one from him.

Damn I know. I'm moving to Valencia June 12th though!! 45 mins off my drive to L.A. now! Planning on heading down to the city a lot more so I was curious where you were. But I'm gonna try and make some of the smaller meets some of you guys get together at.

I chimed in when Raj was asking questions. Basically just let him know how stupid California gun laws are. I think I told him you can only have 1 "feature" on your AR from a list of 3 ( pistol grip, adjustable stock and one other I cant remember) and they all have to be a pin release 10 round mag instead of quick release.

if you look at the 2nd pic, where the bunny is flying off to the right. To the left of my buddy Matt's head, you can see the barrel of the beige one I was shooting the explosives with, lol......

Yeah, that is pretty much it. Basically, if it is an "assault" rifle, no dice...

this is basically it in a nutshell.......

There are two common AR-15 configurations in California right now which are completely legal:

Regular (pistol grip, fixed) stock, fixed 10 round magazine. Typically, the magazine is fixed in place with a screw or with a "bullet button". The bullet button is very popular. Note that if you are building the AR-15, you must never assemble the weapon with both the pistol grip stock and the regular magazine release button. Visually, this will result in a gun that looks the same as the AR-15's sold in other states, however you will not be able to remove the magazine without a tool.

Non-pistol grip stock, removable 10 round magazines. This is known as the "featureless build". Slightly strange looking stocks and grips like the U-15 stock, the Monsterman Grip, and the Hammerhead stock adapter are popular in California because the substitution of the pistol grip feature for the magazine-release feature is more convenient for some. The gun will look different than those sold in other states because of the lack of pistol-grip, but you will be able to change magazines quickly.
