Yeah, but I really want something newer..... most of the 2006 M3's with low miles are in the upper 20's or around 30k.... might as well try to find an 335d for a little bit more money....

335d would be a sensible choice...is there any suspension differences between the diesel and petrol models? Also could lease a new 328i no?

suspension would not be an issue, it would be replaced with more low. No interest in leasing.
