Yeah, that with an electric ratchet takes about 2 minutes for setup and compression.

Yeah car in front of me nailed it square and kicked it up right in front of me. With my commute the law of averages kicks in eventually. I see the CHP conducting safety checks on the trucks leaving the harbor right in front of my plant everyday. See guys get popped for low tire pressure allll the time. They're illegal but only for certain positions on certain types of trucks or loads.
There's probably just not enough evidence to say that retreads cause significantly more blowouts than new tires that are underinflated, damaged, overloaded, etc.
