does anybody know how the bumper mounts fit to the bumper cover? you know the plastic units on the side? (not talking about the mounting points on the car)

do they clip in or are they already tehre when you get the bumper? one side broke and i'm trying to figure out how they are put on. they look like two seperate pieces but they don't want to clip in.

It's plastic welded in or something.
