No, not really. You'd be better off with stock (narrow) sizes for a DD.

I would like to know if in real world circumstances are wider tires generally better than narrow ones. Or since there are so many factors what are the pros and cons to each.

my findings are as follows:
1). contact patch = weight/tire pressure (A 195 tire has the same contact area as a 265 if all other factors remain the same. That simply does not make sense to me when applied to real world tires.)

2). wider tires are better for turning and narrow tires are better for straight line action.

3). wider tires are heavier which make for more rataition mass

4). wider tires disapate heat better than narrow tires which make for lower running temps. this could be good or bad depending on the optimal range of each tire.

5). wider tires just look alot meaner than narrow tires. meaner = cool. Life thought me that.

6). wider tires are also more costly than narrow tires. wide = bad. being a cheap a$s thought me that.
so if you want high dyno numbers get thin lighter wheels and tires, because shaving car weight won't matter for ****.

Chad said something about sending me videos and then promptly went silent.

I assume he and Raf found other things to film.

I don't know. I came home, was running like ****, let it run for a while and now it is better. Idle is all over the place, it was stalling when i pulled it out of gear, but it is def a little better after it ran for a while. I am guessing it is fuel or sensor related.... but it is bleeding oil also, so I assume it is the oil filter housing....
