when the usual guy i deal with who gives me a discount isn't there, i have to work on getting a discount.

last time i picked up front pads i said these were $70 cheaper last time i was here. so he said how about 20% off. i said ok, but still felt violated.

No problem, man.
Don't forget the VANOS oil line and 4 new crush washers. If it's not leaking already, it might start to as soon as you disturb the oil filter housing. Not expensive to replace.

Correct. I'd also get a new o-ring for the intake air temperature sensor if your car has one in the manifold. Some are plugged with a cap instead.
If you're going as far as doing the CCV, I'd also change the throttle body gasket, ICV grommet, and DISA o-ring. Newer DISA units need a special one ordered from ebay since it's not a separate part, but older ones have a green o-ring that's available through BMW parts. If you're just replacing the DISA altogether, it should come with one.

Ummmm. Dont you know that irvine charges up the yin yang from other dealers... From my past experiences. i would never go to them to buy parts or for services.
