you need the vacuum lines that are connected to it too. i think there's 2 of them.

but damn that sounds pretty crazy for a vacuum leak. the last time i had a leak in the boot area, it just had a rough idle, and if i came to stop at a light it would stall lol

You should have seen one 323 I worked on. Intake boot was torn, CCV hoses were falling to bits, and the vacuum lines were crumbling. It pinged pretty bad.
