scanning individual pages of a document sucks balls ... and not in the good way

tried to hook up my LCD monitor to new laptop ... new laptop does not have normal video or s-video out... just a spot for HDMI

there probably isn't a way to hook up the monitor with HDMI since it wasn't made for HDMI

Hmm, yeah, that's about how long ago I got my dual LCD setup. Was late 2002, IIRC.
Probably time to upgrade.

Does your laptop have DVI or VGA or both? It's cheap to go from DVI to HDMI.

the new laptop ONLY has one port for HDMI
4 USB, 1 memory card reader, 1 ethernet
and ... that's it
remember, no optical drive
they didn't put anything on this to keep it slim

The laptop is fine for everything else but the colors are slightly off so I think I should try out the lcd for photo processing
