Probably nothing. Tiff worked yesterday and again today so I am home with the boys. I worked around the house yesterday and took them to the park. Cleaned up a bit this morning, but will probably just end up watching the football games....

I would unless you have had a history of overheating issue's or timing with the block even the m54's are build for 300k+

I know guys with about 400k on their M20 blocks running 25PSI reliably. even a few M50 guys as well.

Not saying another s54 sedan wouldn't be a bad thing but m54's have a lot to give as well.

And think of it this way, who wants a run of the mil M3 with a production number of over 50k OR a 330i sedan with a supercharger kit and an m3 rear end (with new bushings that need to be replaced anyways). How many of those exist maybe a few thousand?

few thoughts on the matter.

converting to an m3 sedan will take more time and cost. You will likely need to source a beater DD. A S/C might be had for as little as $3,000 (with some luck finding a good used one) and could be installed on a weekend.

Or you save all the hassle and money and just save up for the new M3/335td you really want. You will be so greatful you listened to me you will let me have your old run of the mill 170K 330i. As a good friend I will let you borrow her from time to time so you dont miss her and know she went to a good home.
