ahHHH!!! the car is misfiring again. i went to do a cold start this morning and it started fine, then i heard two "clanking" noises. (i'm guessing it's because the spark plug is covered in oil again because of the vcg, which is because of no vacuum which is because of a vacuum leak.

i'm about ready to remove the manifold to make sure all the connections are good on the ccv but i just read the diy and it looks like a bitch.

I am supposed to do some work from home this weekend..... I have no motivation to start

i know ... i've taken on several side jobs that were remote work

yeah, it doesn't help on a laptop either. At work we have 2 screens and that isn't enough, we will be getting 4 screens soon.

If you take the manifold off, I think you will need to replace the gasket ....

and yes, ccv is a bitch.... raf and I just did mine.

I already go in at 6am,

yeah, i have the gasket, it's been sitting since i did the CCV.

i'm hoping that something is loose, and a quick connection will help keep my vcg from blowing out.

...talking about work and how you used to work for countrywide/boa. my dad's position got change a few weeks ago. they closed down his department, luckily he didn't get terminated they just changed his position.

wtf mate. i'm stuck on maybe one of the easiest parts... unclipping the damn harness protector thinggy for the injectors. i'm thinking of just removing the whole thing with all that crap on there.

also, i found out what that clunking sound is. its the ****ing DISA. its weird though, its not chipped or anything. it just keeps snapping back for some reason

Ccv should be easier from the top with the throttle body off.
