I've thought of getting a bone-stock E46 and simply keeping it fresh and clean. But I drive far too much (~24K miles/year) and I really don't want to own another E46.

that's how much my sister drives her e46. maintenance isn't too bad. mostly brakes, oil, tires. and the occasional inspections

that sounds dangerous. that's actually happened to my friend while me and 2 other people were in the car. it caused him to run the red, and if i didn't reach over to pull the wheel, we would have been t-boned by a raised truck and died lol though it's weird cause some time in the middle of it he came back and helped me swerve out of the way

i think i had a sudden drop in blood pressure.
it even took a few seconds for the adrenaline from the panic to kick in.
