huh. well im looking at an e12. something different. and because my friend hinted at selling his. but its not gonna happen for a very long time. im going through an "old car" phase...ive even toyed around the idea of letting the e46 go and geting a 240z...

Owning the first 5er = . If he's got one of the motorsport models, that's even better.

A 240Z, though...I dunno. Maybe it's because I'm over that phase, haha.

Which model is the 5er then?
Good luck finding an unmolested z. Too many r1c3r kids got their hands on them.

yep, everything. indeed.

as for the 5er, im not sure. itll be my daily beater, so a less desirable model is probably a better choice. i saw it once, but i didnt want to ask too much in case i put him under false pretenses. and the z, well, if i ever seriously consider it ill have to look for an old-man-owned example, maybe out of state

Ah, for beater duty, one of the lower models is probably a better choice. There have been a couple of rare Motorsport 533s for sale up here. I think they would have to be grey market since I don't think BMW imported those into the US.

then again theyre more than 25 years old, so you can bypass DOT red tape, if you import them now
