They are looking quite good, wonder what they weigh though....especially if you're planning to put them on a 325

We have had good experience and feedback with the ASA brand over the years.

Gary, any word on the weight of these wheels? My friend is all excited to order them with tires and I want to make sure it's acceptable. Also, is there any way to email my friend a cart with the items inside? I don't want him to select the wrong tires or sizes

Is 245/40/18 the correct tire sizing for the e39 530i? I thought something more like a 235 wide size would fit better.

Not sure on weight yet as we haven't recieved any to weigh in this fitment. Initial shipments are estimated to arrive sometime in April. Either size 235/40R18 and 245/40R18 will fit. 245/40R18 gives a slightly wider and taller tire for a bit better ride and slightly better cosmetic look.

Unfortunately I don't have the ability to email in that way, but it would be no problem to walk him through the order over the phone, or to look over an order he places online. Just have him refer to "gary/check fit" as his previous contact towards the end of the online order. Alternately he can email me in advance and I can double check it that way as well.

These wheels look good, but I will have to see them on a car before I can make a determination. Gary, you guys haven't mounted them on any of your test BMWs have you?

No, unfortunately they don't often mount different styles on our test cars these days due to the tight testing schedule.

Too small as in they look too small, comfortable or not. And I do agree w/ that opinion, way too small. 18's would look sick on a pretty low car.

23 lbs for the 18s is pretty good at that price. Was more interested in the 17s, but no weight shown. Assume they are around 22. Thanks for the link!

The 17" version isn't due in stock until July, so we won't have a measured weight on it till then, sorry.

Correct, since we won't have these until July, I do not have any photos on cars yet.

^ Nice. Was just looking at these. They kind of remind me of CSL reps. The silver looks nice, but I think I'd prefer the matte black if they ever make a fitment for the E46.
